Slough Mini Mela
Aradhana Arts presents Slough Mini Mela taking place at the Curve on Saturday 19th March from 3pm.
Slough Mini Mela is a mini festival and includes free workshops in Indian vocal, Indian percussion and Bollywood dance.
The mini festival concludes with a live performance of Sangeet Yatra bringing together an ensemble of talented musicians with music from around the world.
The ensemble features Tabla Maestro Sanju Sahai, middle eastern percussionist Guy Schalom, violin by Alice Baron, Sitarist and Vocalist Debipriya Sircar and Kathak dance by Jaymini Sahai.

Programme for the day
- Indian Singing Workshop, 3.15pm – 4.15pm
- Indian Percussion Workshop, 3.15pm – 4.15pm
- Bollywood Dance Workshop, 4.30pm – 5.30pm
- Sangeet Yatra Performance, 6pm – 7.15pm
The Slough Mini Mela concludes with a live 1 hour performance of Sangeet Yatra. Sangeet Yatra brings together an ensemble of talented musicians presenting a rich mix of music from around the world.
The ensemble is led by the critically acclaimed Tabla Maestro Sanju Sahai and features versatile middle eastern percussionist Guy Schalom, sounds of the violin by the Alice Baron, talented Sitarist and Vocalist Debipriya Sircar and North Indian classical dance Kathak by Jaymini Sahai. This performance is a free performance and open to all.
