COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING BOARD #5 review
Our Community Programming Board (CPB) met on Wednesday 3 November to continue thinking on our Once Upon A Time In Slough strand of work. We focused on our Story Kit activity, which will be specifically curated boxes that will allow individuals and community members to engage in storytelling activities at home.
Through the session members of the CPB explored:
- Further ideas around what could be included within the boxes.
- Potential community groups and organisations who will benefit from receiving a box.
- Mechanisms for the box delivery and the legacy of these.
- Other aspects including translations, digital access and more.
Our brilliant CPB also assisted in the generation of questions for the LOVE Slough Sandbox, the event on 13 November aimed at gathering ideas for LOVE Slough, our strand of work for early 2022. We’ll be bringing members of the community and the public to an Open Space event where we can engage in creative ideas for our work next year.
