To celebrate the successes of LOVE Slough, we commissioned a film showing the different aspect of the Festival.
We love LOVE Slough
LOVE Slough was an ambitious project designed with the community for the community. Running for three weeks in March 2022.
It featured a diverse range of artforms – knitting, drumming, spoken word, dancing and so much more.

Bringing the town together
LOVE Slough 2022 united communities and showcased a diversity of local talent. It attracted over 3,000 people – 49% of them hadn’t engaged in the arts before.
It demonstrated the need for more arts events across the town and how people are keen to create these themselves.
A celebration
To celebrate the Festival’s achievements, we’ve been working with Slough Community Youth Soul Choir asked Stevoss from Voss Media to make this short film showing Slough’s brilliant vibrancy and the Festival.
The film features a catchy new song “We Love Slough”, especially composed by choir leader Bex Richardson and performed by the Slough Community Youth Soul Choir. The song is now available on various streaming services such as Spotify, listen now and add it to your playlist.
LOVE Slough returns to 2023!
Following the hugely successful inaugural year and following consultation with HOME Slough’s Community Programme Group, we’ll be returning the festival in summer 2023.
There’ll be an opportunity to shape the Festival in our discussion sessions in October. Keep an eye on the HOME Slough website for details.
