Ten simple steps to get started!

STEP 1: Download the Zappar App (from App Store or Google Play)

STEP 2: Visit www.etaslough.com

STEP 3: Go to “Map” to find the checkpoint closest to you currently

STEP 4: When you approach a checkpoint scan the area at the bottom where it says “scan me”

STEP 5: Launch the Zappar App on your phone or tablet

STEP 6: With the app, hold the scanning icon over the “scan me” area at the bottom of the lamppost

STEP 7: Wait for the scan to load (this can take a couple of seconds)

STEP 8: View the content and enjoy!

STEP 9: Go back to www.etaslough.com click on the “Quiz” icon and answer the question

STEP 10: Take a photo at the checkpoint, upload it to social media and use #etaslough

More about Estate Trail App project Estate Trail App was developed from a call out for an artist commission by HOME Slough to engage with the local workforce who mainly leave Slough at the end of the working day. Its aim was to offer a thrilling and unusual event that connects the trading estate’s workers with the town in a new way. The aim was to directly challenge negative perceptions of Slough and illuminate the potential for a cultural offer that encourages people to socialise and be entertained in Slough. Following it's launch in March 2018, the plan for the project is to be open and accessible to all including businesses, schools and community groups. Thanks also to Mix Up Reality, SEGRO, Arts Council England and Slough Borough Council for supporting this project.
